LF 400 ProLineOverview | Principles of Operation | Technical Specifications Principle of operation:LF 400 ProLine is a flexible and user-friendly fluorescence measuring system, developed for the monitoring of processes with varying fluorescence signals. All components (laser system, fluorescence detection and data preprocessing) have been integrated in a portable and rugged housing. Due to the integration of a dye laser and a filter changing unit excitation and emission wavelengths can be adapted to specific measuring tasks. The fibre-optic probes are usually adapted to the measuring problem. Thus solid bodies as well as solutions can be optimally investigated. When measuring in liquids and solutions immersion probes, contact-less measuring heads or flow-cells are available. The process monitor LF 400 ProLine can be equipped with one or two detection channels, which are referred to as LF 401 ProLine and LF 402 ProLine. If two detection channels are integrated, sample fluorescence can be measured in two different wavelengths simultaneously. An outstanding feature of LF 400 ProLine the measuring system is to measure fluorescence lifetimes, to analyse it and to make it available for process monitoring. |
